With the delivery of Apple's latest Retina Display USB-C 12" MacBook, the introduction of a solitary USB-C port is actually rather earth-shaking. The transition to an entirely new physical connector promises to be quite disruptive to a PC and Mac marketplace that's had 15+ years to grow quite comfortable with the status quo.
